![]() What about the rest? Well, the Animal Tome, the Fishing Tome, the Stray Beads' log, the Treasure Tome, the Travel Guides and the Technique Scrolls can all be completed anytime, really. You'll unlock the achievement as soon as you touch the ground. When the Water Dragon's music stops, you're safe and you can swim back to shore. I recommend swimming directly towards the beach where the Animal Lover is, using Waterlily in combination with Galestorm to gain speed. If you miss this one, you'll either have to load a previous save if you have it or just try again in the next playthrough, but worry not: it's pretty easy to get. Failing to escape the Water Dragon's jaws for the first time will prevent you from earning the achievement on that playthrough. The only tricky one might be " No Furball on the Menu". Getting a Cherry Tree rank for the " Lupine and Divine" achievement? You're extremely likely to get them right on your first or second fight in the Cave of Nagi. Optional achievements are achievements that you're very likely to earn naturally during your playthrough, again, due to their nature. ![]() Keep in mind that story achievements you'll be able to earn by simply proceeding through the main plot. Bring the Ruins Key to the entrance of the Tsuta Ruins at the south end of the forest and continue on to the next area.Since we decided to make this guide more achievement-oriented than an actual walkthrough, you'll find that figuring out what you should do first can become a chore due to this guide's fundamental structure. Catch this giant salmon and it'll spit up the Ruins Key. Pull the line opposite the direction the fish is swimming to pull it in, then be ready to use a Power Slash brush stroke to finish off the fish.Īfter catching two fish, only one large fish will remain. Draw a line from a fish to the end of Kokari's reel to begin the fishing mini-game. Talk to Kokari a few times until he starts repeating himself, then give him a good headbutt to get him in the mood to fish. When you're ready to revive the main quest, look for the boy Kokari who's waiting on a small island in the middle of the forest. You're now free to explore the Agata Forest and partake in any and all sidequest available. ![]() While Waka's discolored, use the Power Slash brush technique to strike him and deal a nice chunk of damage. If you're lucky, your melee combo will knock Waka on his back, temporarily turning him gray. When Waka pulls back to fire a projectile attack of his own, jump over it and nail Waka with a mid-air combo. Keep your distance from Waka and fire away. The easiest way to fight with Waka is to use your new Devout Beads as a projectile weapon (and stay out of the water). Even though Waka's mostly a good guy, you'll have to face off against him in what will be the toughest battle you've yet fought. When you've got control of Amaterasu again, headbutt the chest in front of the enlivened Guardian Sapling to find the Devout Beads, a divine instrument that gives you new attack powers.Īs you leave the Guardian Sapling's cave, you'll be introduced to Waka, boy wonder. Use Bloom to revive the Guardian Sapling, restoring life to the forest and dispelling the cursed zone. ![]()
